Noah comes to the counselling room with an understanding that counselling isn’t a place where he helps you “fix” your struggles. Rather, he sees counselling as a process where he supports you in exploring, digging deeper and getting in touch with the tough feelings. Noah sees you as the expert in your own life and wants to learn from and with you. Noah’s goal is that each session, you feel just a little more peace, hope and understanding than you came in with.

As a gay man himself, Noah has a special interest and desire in helping 2SLGBTQIA clients navigate their concerns and struggles. Having personally moved from a place of feeling hopeless and stuck in his sexuality to now feeling a sense of peace and acceptance, Noah strives to work with you to help you find your wellness, whatever that looks like for you.  

Noah is deeply aware of the power and privilege of his gender and works hard to make sure that when you come to counselling, you always know that you hold the power, not him. He strives make the counselling room a space where you can self-reflect, explore who you are and most importantly, feel empowered. 

Noah is a practicum counsellor, meaning he is almost done his Masters degree and is receiving direct supervision from Cecile, another one of our counsellors. Noah and Cecile meet weekly to discuss Noah's cases and determine how he can serve you best. As such, Noah is the right counsellor for you if are open to learning alongside someone who is just as dedicated to the process as you are!
