Here's the 3 phase plan we'll be following over 6 weeks:

Phase One: Safety First, we build safety to make sure you are ready to dig deep in to your past and manage feelings that arise.

Phase Two: Processing Safely and slowly, this is the phase where we move in to the trauma to help you transform it and be free from it. 

Phase Three: Integration Here, we examine and determine how to move forward from your not-so-good past and explore what's next for you.

How it Works

The day you sign up, get access to your first module (or session, as I like to call it). On your schedule, work through the activities in that session.

Each week, get access to 1 more session. Watch the videos and do the activities, then practice using the techniques and tools between sessions.

Continue getting access to 1 session per week for 6 weeks. At any point, go back and re-watch old videos to solidify your learning.

Hi, I'm Cecile and I specialize in treating trauma. I understand the specific challenges that come with healing childhood trauma and I have the research-based tools and theory to help you heal both efficiently and safely.  

Healing trauma can be really overwhelming and research shows that part of what allows people to heal is having a guide they can trust. So let me tell you some facts about me so you can decide if I'm the right person for you.

  • I’m huge nerd and really like research and theory. I always have (at least) one book on the go and if this is the program for you,I’ll end up sharing some facts, data and theory with you, to help you heal. I also attend at least two counselling trainings a year to make sure that I am staying current on counselling theory and how I can help you best. 

  • I’m very goal focussed. I thrive and feel purpose when I am working towards a goal or helping you work towards yours. 

  • I love connecting with people at a real, deep level. I want to know what makes you tick, fills you with purpose or makes you cry. Feeling deeply connected to people is probably my favourite feeling in the world. 

  • I actively work to notice and understand how the impacts of my privilege and power as a cis white woman of European descent influence those around me, and I do my best to ensure that any services I offer are intersectional.

  • When do I get access to each module?
    You will get access to your first module as soon as you sign up. After that, you get access to 1 more session each week. You can re-visit past modules as often as you want.
  • How much time will I need to commit to this course?
    Obviously, each person is going to be different, but I would recommend about 1-1.5 hours to get through each module. This will give you enough time to go through the videos and accompanying activities. You won't need to do this all at one and can certainly break it up throughout the week. Then, you'll find that in each module I give you some "homework". The whole point of this work is that you try doing it as you go about your regular day, so it won't take up much time.
  • Do I have to do one module a week?
    Nope! While you have access to one module a week, you can take as long as you need per module. You'll have as long as you want to work through each model, and I strongly suggest taking the time to fully dive in to each module before moving to the next.
  • I don't live in Canada. Can I take this course and pay in my local currency?
    Absolutely you can! This course is open to anyone, worldwide. To pay in your local currency, simply go to the check out page. You can do this by clicking the "sign me up" button just below this FAQ. When you input your credit card information, it will automatically convert the payment to your local currency.
  • I currently have a therapist. Can I take this course at the same time?
    You sure can! This course is a beautiful compliment to traditional therapy. Ideas and emotions that come up in this course can be brought to therapy for further processing and exploration.
  • I've never done any healing work. I'm worried that this will be too much for me.
    It's very common to feel overwhelmed when starting a healing journey. That's normal! You'll find that the first two weeks of the course will specifically teach you how to build safety and manage emotions that may arise during this program. That way, you will know exactly what to do if it starts to feel like it's too much. You'll learn all the tools you need to make this a successful healing journey.
  • I have experienced A LOT of trauma. Will this course do anything for me?
    Yup! I'm not going to lie and claim that this program can undo every moment of trauma you have undergone. BUT, I can say with confidence that this program will give you the foundation to manage and heal your trauma. From there, you can add new pieces and ideas to continue your healing.
  • I'm not actually sure if I've experienced trauma. I think I have but...?
    The first lesson in this course is named "what actually is trauma" because there is SO much misinformation about trauma and so many people think they don't have trauma but actually do. Don't stress about the word "trauma" and whether you meet the criteria. If you struggle to feel good enough and had a not-so-good childhood, this course is a fit for you.
  • I've experienced childhood trauma AND other traumas. Can I take this course?
    This course is built to help heal your childhood trauma, but it will certainly help manage any form of trauma. That being said, if your priority right now is to heal traumas that happened in your grown-up life, this course might not give you exactly what you are hoping for.
