Who We Are

At WellMind, we understand that you are unique and need a counsellor who gets you. That's why we have a team of counsellors with differing approaches and specializations so that you can find the perfect fit!

Except for our practicum counsellors, all counsellors have a Masters Degree and are registered with the applicable licensing body. This guarantees that they meet certain levels of education and ethical standards.

While we all are different in our style and approaches we are similar in some really fundamental ways:

  • We all take an intersectional, multi-cultural view to our counselling. We understand how gender, ethnicity, age and socio-economic status can impact mental health.

  • We are all LGBTQIA+ friendly. We support all forms of relationships; whether you are non-monogamous, poly, straight, bi, cis or trans, you will find safety in our offices.

  • Everyone at WellMind is committed to being up-to-date on counselling research and theory. As such, we attend conferences and workshops, read books on counselling theory and receive supervision to guarantee you are receiving the highest level of care possible.
